Hole 2

Proceed to the next elevated tee. Out of bounds runs along the left, extending to the large tree in the distance. Aiming too far right brings a substantial bunker, rough, and trees into play, so careful course management is required.

The ideal line is over the right-hand edge of the nearest bunker. A well-struck tee shot along this line will find the centre of the wide and generous fairway. An overly powerful shot, however, may carry over the crest of the hill and into the water hazards that encroach on either side. The second shot is typically played with a mid- to short-iron, depending on the position.

The green is long and protected by two bunkers to the right and mounds to the left, with a track and heavy rough beyond. The length can vary by up to two clubs from front to back. Subtle slopes and hollows on the putting surface require careful attention, as they can influence the outcome of even well-executed putts.
